Kayley Jones

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Kayley has a Bachelor of Communication from Boston College and a Master of Education from the University of Nevada, Reno. The mission of Honeycomb Wellness Center was founded on her passion to help other women find courage, strength, community, and purpose on the path of recovery. Kayley has been an active member of the recovery community in Marin County for the last six years, working in various roles. On a more personal level, she is an animal lover and outdoor enthusiast. Kayley is actively involved in the Clean & Sober Softball community and coaches JV Softball at Redwood High School.

Kira Anderson

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER Kayley has a Bachelor of Communication from Boston College and a Master of Education from the University of Nevada, Reno. Dave Ford

PROGRAM DIRECTOR, CAI, SUDCC Dave has been working on the front lines of substance abuse and mental health care for the last six years here in Northern California, diligently helping clients and families on their path to recovery. He is a Certified ARISE® Interventionist (CAI) and Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDRC). Dave has worked in a medical detox settings, co-owns and runs a local sober living business, and specializes in working with entire family systems for long durations of time. The love he has for the work that he does has a profound effect on the clients that he works with. Dave is a true leader and man of integrity within the local recovery community.

ANGELA HOPPER

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, LMFT Angela Hopper is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of addiction treatment in various clinical settings. Focused on Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders, Angela has held several leadership roles in these areas. Before joining Honeycomb Wellness Center, she worked in multiple settings, including as Clinical Director at Golden Gate Recovery Program. Her broad experience spans several treatment facilities and roles, significantly influencing her holistic approach to client care, encompassing psychological, emotional, and social aspects

Alexis Lang

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, MAT Prior to joining Honeycomb Recovery, Alexis spent 4 years in the Emergency Department as the first Substance Use Navigator in Sonoma County. Alexis played a pivotal role in forming safe inductions, ensuring patients have 24/7 access to medication assisted treatment (MAT), connecting patients to care and community while fostering a culture of harm reduction in the emergency department. Alexis found fulfillment providing a safe supportive environment for both the patient and family. She integrates her life and professional experience into all that she does, including helping our female clients and their families navigate their path to recovery.

Dr. Christian Small

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Dr. Small received his medical degree at the University of Hawaii. He completed his medical residency in Psychiatry and Family Medicine at UCSD. He is board certified in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Family Medicine. Dr. Small is passionate about bringing quality care to patients suffering with addiction.

CHANDRA SHANMUGAVEL

SUBSTANCE USE COUNSELOR, APCC, NCC Chandra has been supporting clients with diverse backgrounds heal from mental health struggles and addiction since 2021. She is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) working under the supervision of our clinical director. She is passionate about helping clients learn about the experiences that shape their reality and live life in an embodied, present-focused way. Chandra applies a somatic, trauma-informed lens to her work with clients and is trained to support individuals integrate their life experiences using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

Greg Loiacono

MUSIC THERAPIST, CADCII Greg Has been working in the addiction and mental health field for over thirteen years at a variety of dual diagnosis facilities around Northern California. He studied addiction and acquired his CADCII through UC Berkeley Extension Program and is certified by the State of California as an addiction specialist. Greg has also been a professional musician for over thirty years, performing, writing and producing mainly in his band The Mother Hips but also as a solo artist. It’s his passion for recovery work and music that inspired him to develop his “Song of Recovery” music process group that he provides for clients here at Honeycomb.

FRANCIS HOLMES

FUNCTIONAL NUTRITIONIST Frances Holmes is a Functional Nutritionist and Integrative Grief Practitioner in addiction, recovery, and mental health. She educates on Nutrition for Sustainable Sobriety™, emphasizing the importance of proper nutrition to support and replenish vital nutrients for recovery. Her services teach the power of nutrition, critical for body and brain health. Through diet and lifestyle modifications, those in recovery learn ways to create energy, balance moods, enhance sleep, and improve focus. As an Integrative Grief Practitioner, Frances also addresses the somatic aspects of loss and grief, recognizing their significant role in recovery.
