Honeycomb Wellness Center offers multiple levels of outpatient care to suit the individualized needs of each of our clients. The programs are designed for clients to progress through over time, advancing to the next level of care throughout the course of treatment. Day Treatment, sometimes referred to as PHP, is typically recommended for individuals who require more intensive care and support than traditional outpatient therapy, but do not require the 24-hour care offered by a residential facility. Intensive Outpatient (IOP) may be more suitable for individuals who have completed residential treatment and are transitioning back into their daily lives, or for those who cannot commit to a full-time residential program. Both Day Treatment and IOP programs provide flexible and effective treatment options that can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and the level of care and support required.
Day Treatment (PHP) provides the most structured and intensive care. PHP includes daily programming for an average of six hours a day, several days a week. but do not require 24-hour care in a residential facility. PHP combines group therapy, individual counseling, psycho-educational groups and sessions, and experiential therapies. The goal of Day Treatment is to help individuals develop the skills and tools needed to maintain sobriety and achieve long-term recovery. Day Treatment is often used as a step-down from residential treatment, or as an alternative to inpatient residential treatment before entering and IOP or outpatient program.
